Khaled AlShamaa is the Director and Co-Founder of XYZ Designers, a future-forward design firm offering comprehensive services in lead consultancy, architecture, interior, landscape, and urban design. With offices in the UAE, Syria, and Germany, the firm shapes transformative built environments across the Middle East and beyond – rooted in data-driven innovation, sustainability, and contextual sensitivity.

Khaled co-founded XYZ Designers in 2014 with Hamdi Adam. He holds a degree in Architecture from Damascus University and began his career in the early 2000s, gaining extensive regional experience through roles at leading firms such as Odyssey, NODE, and DWP. His time at DWP was particularly influential, shaping his holistic design philosophy and emphasizing the importance of synergy between architecture and interiors—an integrated approach that defines XYZ’s practice today.

Driven by curiosity and collaboration, Khaled approaches every project as a unique opportunity for exploration and innovation. He fosters a studio culture where design begins with rigorous research and collective creativity. While he empowers his team to take ownership, he remains deeply involved in project direction and creative strategy.
