Dr. Mustafa Batikha

Dr. Mustafa Batikha is an Assistant Professor in Structural Engineering for the Civil Engineering programme at the School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society at Heriot-Watt University Dubai. Dr. Batikha received his PhD in Structural Engineering from Edinburgh University in 2008. He completed his BSc and MSc in Structural Engineering from Damascus University in 1993 and 1998, respectively. Dr. Batikha has over 40 research publications and has supervised research students. His research interests include Non-Linear analysis and modelling of structures under different loading scenarios, rehabilitation and strengthening of structures, working on bridges and tall buildings, sustainable concrete, and 3D concrete printing.
